The Millennium Green is for everyone to enjoy, but remember to respect the environment

Leave only footprints

Take only photographs

Pick up and remove all your dogs' droppings!

The Millennium Green is a village amenity but it also needs your support.  You can provide this by getting involved in a number of ways:

  • Help us when we have work to do. If you’re interested in joining us for tree planting or other conservation activities, please reach out through our  Contact  page. We’ll add you to our volunteer list and let you know when we need extra hands.

  • Become a Trustee of the Millennium Green. If you’d like to help manage the project, please Contact Us through our website. We usually have 2-3 meetings a year, including the AGM in May. You don’t need any special qualifications—just an interest in wildlife and a wish to help the community.

  • Support the Trust. The Millennium Green is maintained by volunteers working on a very limited budget but we do face annual costs for managing the grass and hedgerows.  If you would like to make a donation towards keeping this village amenity beautiful, please email the Chairman of Trustees, Ashley Seymour using the  Contact  page.  If you are a UK taxpayer, please consider adding Gift Aid to your donation at no additional cost to yourself.   We can also plant a tree in memory of your loved ones, with their names noted in a remembrance book.  Thank You!

  • Finally, come and enjoy the Green!
