Offer a helping hand: Working parties
Our Millennium Green thrives thanks to the dedication of our volunteers. We regularly organise working parties to help with conservation efforts, maintenance, and small improvement projects. Your support, even for a few hours, makes a real difference. We're always looking for assistance. Check back here for dates or visit our contact & administration page to register your interest.

The Late John Grearson - Trustee
Many residents of Ashton Keynes will have known Trustee John Grearson, who sadly passed away in July 2025. He was a highly respected naturalist and entomologist. In particular, he was nationally acknowledged as an authority on the many species of sawflies. John brought his knowledge to the management of the AK Millennium Green together with his energetic and systematic approach by conducting an annual survey of the species of flora & fauna that had been observed on the Green. His last Species List from 2023 will remain online until further notice, as a token of our appreciation for his work and fellowship.
